Lowtide Cuffs is a complete restraint system for FiveM that adds more depth to police and criminal roleplay. Complete with a "punchout" mechanic for the person being cuffed to break away from the person cuffing them with fully scripted and server synced animations via a configurable minigame as well as lockpicking cuffs as a non-police character. Players can use hard cuffs, soft cuffs, or zipties, search restrained suspects, escort them, and move them in or out of vehicles.
Built on lt-core, one version of the resource works across QBCore, Qbox, ESX, and standalone servers. Framework, inventory, targeting, notification, progress, and database integrations are detected automatically, making setup simple and keeping configuration in one place.
Important actions are checked by the server, including player distance, restraint status, target validity, and item ownership. This helps protect the resource against event abuse and unauthorized interactions.
